Are rates listed per person or per room? Are taxes and service charges included in rates? All rates are per room and night. All room and apartment rates for include taxes (VAT) and service charges by law.

Until when can I check in? The rooms are available to you from 2 pm on the day of arrival. Please, check in 08:00pm. You can store your luggage with us at 08:00am. If you can't arrive at our hotel before 08pm, that's no problem either. In this case, simply inform the hotel directly about your late arrival. We wait for you all night long. Our houses has no curfew or lockout.

How is the traffic connection with public transportation and the location of your hotel? Our guest house is conveniently located in the city centre of Berlin, near Alexander Place. The accommodation offers excellent public transport access. The station Schönhauser Allee - underground and city rail (S-Bahn) is just a 2-minute walk. Their central position and excellent public transport connections (underground, S-Bahn rapid transit system, bus, metro tram), mean that you can quickly and easily reach any destination in the city and the surrounding area.

How can I get to the hotel with public transport? From Schönefeld Airport (SXF): Public transport is cheap and reliable, taking approx. 45 mins. Ticket vending machines are found in arrivals in Terminal A and a single ticket which has to be for zones ABC is €2,80. Use S-Bahn train number 09 in the direction of Schönhauser Allee. Alternatively take one of the plentiful licensed Taxi's. The taxi line is in front of the Terminal, the journey time is around 40-45 mins and should cost approx. €35,00 From Main Railway Station: From Berlin Hauptbahnhof by public transport the journey takes approx. 20 min. Ticket vending machines are in the Terminal and a single ticket costs €2,10. Take all S-Bahn to Alexanderplatz. Change now to the subway (U 2 - dir: Pankow) to U-Bahnhof Schönhauser Allee. There's a licensed taxi stand in front and back of the Main Station, the journey takes around 10-15 minutes and costs approx. €10-15

How are the rooms equipped? Is WiFi provided? What kind of amenities are provided free of charge? All rooms feature bathroom with a shower, a toilet and hairdryer. Room amenities include a small fridge, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, desk and room fan. We provide various amenities such as shower gel and shampoo, coffee drink-making facilities inclusive coffee and tea in all rooms. The rooms are cleaned, and the towels are changed on a daily basis. Parking is available in front of the guesthouse and is free of charge for our guests.

Does City Guesthouse Pension Berlin offer enough non-smoking rooms? We are more than able to meet the demand for non-smoking rooms. All our rooms are non-smoking. We offer rooms for smokers with a garden terrace.

Which means of payment are accepted? We accept cash, payment by bank-transfer, EC. When making a reservation a deposit is required to guarantee the reservation. Your booking becomes also valid with credit card guarantee!

What costs will you have if you cancel your booking? How may I cancel or amend my reservation? You may cancel your reservation per fon o by email. Free cancellations for bookings are possible until 3 days before booked journey, on Holidays, Events and Exhibition 7 days. The time periods for Holidays, Events and Exhibition you found under room rates. If the reservation is not cancelled outside of the 3/7 day cancellation notice period, your credit card will be charged only with the full amount only of the first night's stay. If a Guest fails to make an appearance / NO SHOW, he will be charged the full amount due for the reserved rooms minus any recovered expenditures.
